What's New At Hi-TechFX?July 2007fourth of July in atlanta, GA with Airtran and Centennial Olympic parkHi Tech FX returns to Atlanta, GA for an encore performance at Centennial Olympic Park. Hi Tech FX was commissioned to design and execute a 20 minute pyromusical for the parks annual Indepenance Day celebration. The event was part of a day long event attended by more than 120,000 people.
March 2007HI Tech FX Wows crowd for 2007 Final Four in AtlantaHi Tech FX was once again chosen as the pyrotechincs vendor for the Final Four in Atlanta, GA. Hi Tech Designed and exectued a 13 minute pyromusical in Centennial Olympic Park and from surrounding roof tops as part of the 2007 Big Dance. The event was sponsored by AT&T. Over 3000 devices were fired in perfect time with the music. The crowd response was overwhelming. On Tour with GodsmackHi Tech FX is proud to announce it providing effects for the Godsmack IV tour this fall. In conjunction with our partneres at JEM FX, Hi Tech President Brian Panther is serving as Pyrotechnics crew chief for Godsmack's "IV "tour and is also suppling the tour with our own line of confetti products. Look for us in action on this tour.
Rocking the Rally at Sturgis in 2006 with Nickelback Hi Tech FX recently traveled to Sturgis SD for the annual rally to provide additional pyrotechnics for Nickelback who was taping for a soon to be released DVD of their live performances. Hi Tech FX provided supplimental Pyrotechics and Flame Effects to an allready amazing show produced by our partners at JEM FX with Crew Chief Steven Joseph. Look for this DVD around Christmas 2006. Its a Disco Inferno with Mary Kay cosmetics. Hi Tech FX again teamed up with Raymond Henry of Atlas Enterprises to produce stunning fire effects for the Mary Kay Seminar 2006 in Dallas Texas. Henry called upon HI Tech Fx to provide flame effects to jazz up the disco inferno medley as part of the annual awards night presentation.
Gay Games VII in Chicago IL . Hi Tech FX was proud to provide pyrotechinc and flame effects for the opening ceremonies of the Gay Games VII held in historic Soldier Field. Hi Tech FX provided pyrotechnic and liquid flame effects and provided support to the games' Cauldron creators Jauchem and Meeh, of New York City. The event was a success and the nearly 45,000 attendees were very impressed with the celebrity filled show celebrating diversity and personal athletic best.
Hi Tech FX Provides Effects for the Springfield Air Rendezvous. Hi Tech FX recently provided some specacular effects for the Brotherhood of Destruction at the Springfield Air Rendezvous, an Annual Air show in Springfield IL. The effects consited of sevearl large explosions coorditated with the performance of several dare devel jumps as part of a weekend of family fun, aviation, and history.
Hi Tech FX is a proud supporter of Special Olympics. In July of 2006 the Special Olympics organization held its first National Games in Ames Iowa . It brought thousands of special athletes and their fans to participate in a week of sports , fun and ceremonies. Hi Tech FX was called upont to help create the centepiece of the games' opening ceremonies, the Special Olympics Cauldron. This custom built peice was ignited by an athlete at the culmination of the opening ceremonies and burned for the duration of the event. In addition to the cauldron. Hi Tech FX provided a large outdoor pyromusical production to conclude the weeks festivities.
Hi Tech FX Rocks the NCAA Final Four with John Mellenkamp. Hi Tech FX provided pyrotechincs and streamer effects for the 2006 NCAA Final Four Big Dance and MY COKE FEST celebrations in Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis, IN. The shows were part of festivities celebrating the Final four tournament The highlight of the evening was a large pyrotechincs display performed as a finale to the John Mellenkamp Concert surrounded on all sides by more than 75,000 specators. Hi Tech FX ads sparkle to "Shooting Stars" Sporting event in Branson MO. Hi Tech FX recently contributed pyrotechnic special effects to a brand new breed of extreme sports: Night time trap shooting. Working with show designers and creative director, Howard Ungerlieder and Brian Beggs of Prodcution Design International, Hi Tech added another dimension to an already bold take on well established sport of competative trap shooting. Contestants fired tracer rounds at clay targets painted in Wildfire UV paint under the flood of a large outdoor moving light rig. HI Tech FX Heats things up with NASCAR Hi Tech FX in conjunction with Atlas Enterprises, recently heated things up in the winners circle at Texas Motor Speedway. Hi Tech provided flame effects gear and technicians to add a flair to the winners circle celebration as Carl Edwards won the race and claimed his place in victory lane. Show desiginer Raymond Henry of Atlas Enterprises chose Hi Tech to help bring his vision of a firey finsih in winners circle to life. The flames were a huge crowd pleaser and people are still talking about the event today.
HI Tech FX Kicks off inaugural season of the Iowa Stars AHL Hockey Leauge Hi Tech FX is pleased to be working with the Des Moines Iowa Stars AHL Hockey team. The Stars are a NHL Farm team for the Dallas Stars. Hi Tech has designed effects including pyrotechnics for the team introductions and an LP Gas Flaming scoreboard which is a huge crowd pleaser. Hi Tech also installed 4 intelligent lighting fixtures to project the teams logos as well as other lighting effects on the the ice.
August 2005 Hi Tech FX on tour with DJ TIESTO Hi Tech FX is pleased to announce that we are touring with DJ Tiesto this fall in the United States. This award winning DJ is selling out stadiums all over Europe and is bringing his amazing show to the United States. April 2005 Hi-Tech FX's Brian Panther, In conjunction with Central States Fireworks of Athens IL. Designed and produced a pyrotechnics and multimedia spectacle for the dedication of the new Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, IL. Elements of the show included building illumination, a laser light show, and more than 900 pyrotechnic devices fired from the roof of the museum. The event was choreographed to music played live by the 312 Army Band of Kansas. It was fired by the EZ-Fire System by MAGS Digital Controls, The event was a huge success and the show's design was praised by event organizers. Below are a few photos from the event:

HI Tech FX LLC will now offer the full line of Flame Effects systems previously only available directly from JEM- FX. Our Licensing agreement places a significant inventory of the much sought after JEM FX Flame gear in the mid-west. February 2005President Brian Panther has just returned from Hong Kong where he has spent over one month serving as lead pyrotechnic operator with Pyromagic productions. While in Hong Kong, Brian supervised and executed numerous projects including: Pyrotechnics for the world premier of the Keanu Reeve's new movie, Constantine, Pyrotechnics for two concerts in the Hong Kong Coliseum, Pyrotechnic and Special effects for numerous corporate events, and worked on the crew of the Victoria Harbor Chinese Lunar New Year display, A massive display fired from four barges and containing over 15,000 pyrotechnic devices. He also worked on the Hong Kong Tourism Associations, Symphony of Lights, A multi media, light, laser, and pyrotechnics display which occurs nightly in Hong Kong and involves firing of pyrotechnics from the roofs of some of Hong Kong's tallest buildings.
