About Us

Hi Tech FX is an Iowa company specializing in indoor pyrotechnics as well as close proximity pyrotechnics and special effects.    Our staff has a combined experience of over 80 years in the special effects business.   We have offices in Southeastern Iowa, and representatives in Des Moines IA, Atlanta GA, and Las Vegas NV.

Some of our services include:  Indoor Pyrotechnics, Display Fireworks, Pyromusical Productions,  LP Gas Flame Effects, Confetti, Streamers, Fog, Cryogenics, Kabuki drops, Special Effects supplies, Lighting and Lasers.  We also can provide full service production and design if required.

We are fully insured and licensed in numerous states.  Our experienced staff keep up with critical changes in today's  ever changing industry.  We are members of the following organizations:  American Pyrotechnics Association, Pyrotechnics Guild International, National Fireworks Assocaition, and the National Fire Protection Association.
